Quick Review:

The monitor is a full HD 1080p (1920x1080) with an aspec ratio of 16:9. I have found that it was a significant upgrade from my prior monitor which was an old Acer. I never realised how much more detail came with a better monitor.

The reason I needed to upgrade for for picture editing mainly but I also wanted a crisp image when watching videos. This monitor works very well for someone on a low budget but needs the upgrade. I found that I can see a lot more detail in my images now once they are edited.

Before I got this, I was leaving darker sections when editing a white background however, I can now see the problems with my old photos and have been able to fix them. People have given me feedback on my recent pictures and said that they are much better and usable.

The 4ms response time is great for gaming! You can definitely tell a difference when you upgrade. It gives you a much more immersive experience along with the quality increase.

The monitor is a really nice design, thin and has a patterned back. The bevel around the edge is also thin and this helps for multi monitor setup.

Here are some Amazon reviews:

"The screen itself is really good, however the Q&A state the screen comes with a UK plug but it came with a 2 pin and you can't get hold of the seller so I had to buy a plug that works with it so not very happy to be spending more when it should come with it."

"I use this with my MacBook Pro and the quality is brilliant and the size perfect for when I am doing work on my photography stuff."

"A great monitor with good colour. Very simple to set up, not many options on the monitor itself. Just one thing to note, THIS IS A MONITOR AND NOT A TV. There is no headphone jack and there are no speakers so if you're using it for gaming (like I do) you need to have the sound coming out of your headphones that is connected to your controller. Good price"

Overall:

Overall its a very good monitor and there isn't much to criticise it on for the price. The pros are that it is very inexpensive, high quality, good response time and very light. It also has a simple set up. The cons are that it has a lower response time than some more modern and more expensive monitors. It is also not very widescreen however I don't find this a problem.
